The NCB works to ensure the safety of those receiving services and enhance accountability by applying rigorous standards for acquiring and maintaining certification. The board is also in charge of enforcing the code of ethics that govern the PRSS and other helping roles, including Community Health Work, PRSS Supervisors, and Prevention Specialists.
