In the United States, there are thousands of individuals without access to water, sanitation, and hygiene, as approximately 48% of the nation’s population is experiencing homelessness.
Foundation for Recovery and Clean the World Foundation have partnered to offer free showers, hygiene kits, and peer recovery support weekly at our Southern Nevada Recovery Community Center.
For more information about the mobile shower truck and other free services for people experiencing homelessness or those struggling with substance use, please contact our recovery community center at (702) 257-8199
About Foundation for Recovery
Established in 2005, Foundation for Recovery has built programs and partnerships to remove barriers for Nevada families and communities impacted by substance use and mental health disorders. Our success is attributed to a simple concept; expand community support services, empower local leaders, build capacity for authentic addiction recovery resources, and treat people who use substances with dignity and respect.
About Clean the World Foundation
Clean the World was founded in 2009 to address global health issues by using discarded hygiene supplies from the hospitality industry.
Since its launch, the mobile hygiene unit has provided an astonishing 13,665 showers and 11,000 hygiene kits to those in need in Clark County, Nevada.
